French Onion Chicken & Rice:
One cup of Rice
One can of condensed French Onion soup
3/4 soup can full of water
Chicken pieces cut up, salt & peppered.
Cook on high for 8-9 hours in the crockpot.
You can also cook in the oven at 350 degrees, covered in foil for an hour – remove the foil and cook for 20-30 minutes longer to brown the chicken.

Update: Okay I made this and I have to say I was underwhelmed. It was bland. Absolutely no flavor. We added salt, seasoned pepper, etc. The rice was mushy and overcooked. The chicken would have been perfect if it’d had any flavor. One positive thing I can say is it was super easy.
If I make it again, I would definitely change things a little. Maybe cook the rice separately and then combine it with the cooked chicken and soup. Really regret doubling the recipe. 😕
I found this recipe after buying a london broil on sale and having no clue how to fix it. I will let you know how it is after I fix it.

2 pounds london broil
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed tomato soup
1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
Cut the meat if necessary to fit in the bottom of the slow cooker. Combine condensed soups in a bowl and pour over the meat. Sprinkle the dry onion soup mix over the top. Cook on low 8 ~ 10 hours.
This pot roast comes out so tender and flavorful!!! You can also brown the pot roast after cutting it in half to ensure a pretty color and extra flavor. Be sure to deglaze the pan with some water or beef broth to get all the yummy crunchies off the pan!
1 2.5 pound boneless round roast
1 medium onion, sliced
salt and pepper to taste
2 8 oz cans tomato sauce
1 pkg dry Italian dressing mix
Slice roast in half and place in the slow-cooker. Add onion and remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on high for 1 hour, then on low for 7 hours. Slice meat to serve.
Creamy rice and chicken. Also good with pork chops!
6-8 boneless chicken breasts
½ c flour
1 ½ t dry mustard
1 ½ t garlic powder
2 T oil
1 family size can chicken and rice soup
Dredge chicken in flour, salt, mustard, garlic powder. Brown in oil. Place browned chicken in crockpot. Add soup and any left over flour mixture, and the pan drippings. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
