Duncan Hines’ Brownie Ice Cream Pie


This recipe card made Justin say, “I’m never gonna lose weight!” 


1 package Duncan Hines®  Chewy Fudge Brownie Mix

2 eggs

½ cup vegetable oil

¼ cup water

¾ cup semisweet chocolate chips

1 9 inch unbaked pastry crust

1 10 ounce package frozen sweetened sliced starwberries

Vanilla ice cream


Preheat oven to 350°F.

Combine brownie mix, eggs, oil, and water in a large bowl.  Stir with spoon until well blended.  Stir in chips.  Spoon into crust.  Bake 40-45 minutes or until set.  Cool completely.  Purée strawberries in food processor or blender.  Cut pie into wedges.  Serve with ice cream and puréd strawberries.

Makes 8 servings

For neat slices of fudgy or cream-filled pies, wipes off the knife blade with a damp paper towel after each cut.
